Refund Policy
Version 2026-10-03
Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds, withdrawals, subscription cancellations, payment disputes, and the removal of refunded purchases are handled.
Purchases made through the store are processed by Tebex, which acts as the seller or merchant of record for the payment transaction. This policy also describes the rules applied by the server to Stardust, ranks, subscriptions, and other benefits delivered to your Minecraft account.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or reduces any right or remedy that you have under applicable law. If applicable law gives you greater or additional rights, those rights apply regardless of anything stated below.
Digital purchases and withdrawal rights
Products supplied through the store are digital, but they are not necessarily treated in the same way under consumer law.
Depending on the product, a purchase may involve:
- in-game virtual currency, such as Stardust;
- digital content or an in-game digital item;
- access to a digital service or server benefit;
- a recurring subscription.
The withdrawal or cancellation rules that apply can therefore differ between products and between countries.
Where applicable law gives you a statutory right to withdraw from or cancel a purchase, we will respect that right.
Digital content supplied immediately
For digital content for which applicable law permits the right of withdrawal to end when supply begins, we may ask you at checkout to:
- expressly consent to supply beginning immediately; and
- acknowledge that beginning supply will cause you to lose your right of withdrawal.
Any such consent is separate from the act of placing the order and is never selected for you in advance.
Where required by law, confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement is provided or recorded with the contract confirmation.
This rule is not relied upon to treat purchased Stardust itself as digital content.
Services supplied during the withdrawal period
Some ranks, subscriptions, or other server benefits may constitute services or digital services rather than one-off digital content.
Where applicable law gives you a withdrawal right for such a service, beginning the service immediately does not necessarily cause that right to end.
If you expressly request that a service begin during an applicable withdrawal period and later exercise a valid right of withdrawal, an amount corresponding to the service already supplied may be deducted where applicable law permits this.
A withdrawal right may end after a service has been fully performed where the requirements of applicable law have been satisfied.
Stardust refunds
Stardust is the store's in-game virtual currency.
Standard Stardust refund
Under our standard store policy, a full refund of a Stardust package is available for 14 days after purchase if:
- none of the Stardust attributable to that package has been used;
- the payment has not already been refunded or reversed; and
- there is no open chargeback or payment dispute concerning that payment.
If these conditions are satisfied, the refund is not discretionary merely because you have changed your mind.
Your billing history shows whether a Stardust purchase currently qualifies for a refund under this standard policy and the date on which the standard refund period ends.
An eligible refund may be requested directly from your billing history. The server re-checks the Stardust ledger and payment status when the request is submitted.
If the automatic refund option is unavailable, you may still contact support if you believe you have a refund, withdrawal, or other remedy under applicable law.
How Stardust usage is determined
Stardust usage is determined using the server's Stardust transaction ledger.
For the purpose of determining which purchased Stardust has been spent, Stardust is attributed on a first-in, first-out basis.
This means that Stardust you already held is treated as being spent before Stardust from a newer package.
For example, purchasing a new Stardust package and later spending less Stardust than you held before that purchase does not count as using Stardust from the new package.
Partially used Stardust packages
If some, but not all, of the Stardust attributable to a package has been used, that package is not eligible for an automatic full refund under the standard Stardust refund described above.
However, this does not exclude any right that you may have under applicable consumer law in relation to Stardust that remains unused.
If part of a Stardust package remains unused and you believe that you have a statutory right of withdrawal or refund, contact us so that the transaction can be reviewed.
Stardust purchased and used in the same order
An order may purchase Stardust and immediately use some or all of that Stardust to obtain digital items, content, or services included in the same checkout.
Stardust used in this way is treated as spent and is not considered unused Stardust for the purpose of the standard full Stardust refund.
Where required, checkout separately asks you to consent to the immediate supply of the digital content or service acquired with that Stardust and to acknowledge any effect this may have on your statutory withdrawal rights. This confirmation is never selected for you in advance.
Your order page and billing history show how much Stardust was purchased, how much was used immediately, and how much remained in your Stardust balance.
Using Stardust to obtain another item or service does not itself remove any statutory rights that may apply to that item or service.
VIP and Supporter
Refund and withdrawal rights for VIP, Supporter, and similar benefits depend on the nature of the purchase and the law that applies to the transaction.
Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal or another statutory remedy, that right will be respected.
Outside any right provided by law, requests for refunds of VIP or Supporter may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Supporter subscriptions
A Supporter subscription may be cancelled at any time through the Tebex customer area.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges. Unless a refund, statutory withdrawal, or other remedy applies, Supporter remains active until the end of the period that has already been paid for.
Cancelling future renewal is different from requesting a refund of a payment that has already been made.
If a refund or valid withdrawal applies to the current subscription period, Supporter access may end earlier as part of that refund or withdrawal.
Faulty, missing, or incorrectly supplied purchases
The refund periods in this policy do not replace your rights where a product or service is faulty, not supplied, incorrectly supplied, or does not conform to what was promised.
If you experience such a problem, contact us.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the appropriate remedy may include correcting the delivery, restoring access, bringing the product or service into conformity, reducing the price, or providing a refund.
These rights may apply even where the ordinary Stardust refund period has ended or where a product has already been used.
Requesting a refund
For an unused Stardust package that is eligible under the standard refund policy, you may use the refund option shown in your billing history.
For all other refund requests, contact:
Please include your order reference, which is shown in your billing history.
If an automated Stardust refund is unavailable or rejected, this does not prevent you from contacting us where you believe applicable law gives you a refund, withdrawal right, or other remedy.
Approved refunds are processed through Tebex and are normally returned using the payment method associated with the original purchase, subject to Tebex's payment-processing rules and any requirements of applicable law.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
A chargeback or payment dispute is different from a refund request. It asks a bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other payment service to challenge or reverse a transaction.
If you believe a purchase should be refunded, we encourage you to contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.
This does not prevent you from exercising any legal right you have to challenge an unauthorised, fraudulent, incorrect, or otherwise disputable payment through your bank, payment provider, Tebex, or another competent body.
Open disputes
A payment generally cannot also be refunded through the store's normal refund process while a chargeback or payment dispute concerning that same payment is open.
If the dispute results in the payment being reversed, the transaction is treated as reversed rather than separately refunded.
If the dispute is closed without the payment being reversed, any remaining refund eligibility may be reviewed again.
Abuse or fraudulent disputes
Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in restrictions on purchases, the server account, or related services.
We do not impose a permanent server ban merely because a customer has exercised a legitimate right to dispute a payment.
Before account restrictions are imposed solely because of suspected chargeback or payment-dispute abuse, the circumstances may be reviewed. You may contact support to contest the reason for the restriction.
What happens after a refund or payment reversal
When a payment is refunded or permanently reversed, benefits attributable to that payment may be removed.
Stardust
For a full refund of a Stardust package, the Stardust attributable to that refunded purchase is removed from the account.
For a partial refund involving unused Stardust, the corresponding amount of Stardust is removed.
The server does not reduce a Stardust balance below zero solely as a result of processing a refund or payment reversal.
Ranks
A rank supplied by a refunded or permanently reversed payment may be removed.
Supporter
If a Supporter payment is refunded or permanently reversed, the Supporter entitlement associated with that payment may end.
Ending Supporter because its payment has been refunded or reversed does not automatically grant or leave behind VIP unless the relevant purchase specifically provided otherwise.
Items obtained using Stardust
If Stardust from the same order was immediately used to obtain another item or service, those transactions may require separate review.
Additional items are not automatically removed solely because the Stardust purchase is being reviewed unless removal is appropriate for the refund, withdrawal, payment reversal, or applicable law.
Checkout confirmations and records
Where a purchase requires an express request, consent, or acknowledgement relating to immediate supply or withdrawal rights, the relevant confirmation is never selected for you in advance.
We record information associated with the confirmation, which may include:
- the exact text shown to you;
- the version of that text;
- the date and time of confirmation;
- the order with which the confirmation is associated; and
- the type of confirmation you gave.
Your order page and billing history may display this information.
Where applicable law requires confirmation on a durable medium, the required contract information and confirmation must also be provided in a form that satisfies that requirement.
If an order purchases Stardust and immediately uses it to obtain another digital item or service, any additional confirmation required for that immediate supply is recorded separately.
A checkout confirmation records the request, consent, or acknowledgement you actually gave. It does not remove, waive, or reduce any right that applicable law does not permit you to waive.
Tebex
Payments made through the store are processed by Tebex as the seller or merchant of record for the payment transaction.
Tebex's applicable checkout terms also apply to purchases processed through Tebex.
Nothing in this policy should be interpreted as reducing mandatory consumer rights that apply to the transaction. Where a refund is due under this policy or applicable law, the payment refund is processed through Tebex.
Changes to this policy
The version of this policy applicable to a purchase is the version presented or otherwise applicable when the purchase was made, except where a later change is required by law or gives the customer additional rights without reducing existing rights.
